A delayed return flight is stressful enough without worrying about your car. The good news: we monitor flight arrivals automatically — so in most cases, you don’t need to do anything at all.
Do I need to tell you if my flight is delayed?
If you provided your return flight number when you booked, we track it via live flight data. When your flight is delayed, we adjust and have your car ready when you actually land — not when you were originally due.
That said, it’s always good practice to send a quick message if your delay is more than a couple of hours, especially for overnight delays.
Key point: always include your return flight number when booking — that’s what enables automatic tracking. You’ll find the field at checkout on this site.
What to do, step by step, if your flight is delayed
Check your confirmation email
Your direct contact number is in the confirmation we send after your booking. Find it before you need it — save the number in your phone.
For delays over 2 hours — send a quick message
Text or WhatsApp us to let us know. We're probably already tracking your flight, but we appreciate the heads up.
For overnight delays — call us directly
If your flight is delayed overnight or cancelled, call as soon as you can on 07960 011047. We'll arrange extended storage — at no extra charge in most cases.
On landing — call before collecting your bags
As soon as you land, give us a ring. That gives our driver time to bring your car to the terminal so it's ready when you come out.
Quote your booking reference
Have your MAG- reference ready — it lets us identify your vehicle instantly.
Will I be charged extra if my flight is delayed?
For short delays of a few hours, no — we absorb that as part of the service. For delays that push your stay beyond the booked return date, we allow a grace period of 24 hours before any additional charge applies. The exact terms are in your confirmation email.
Important: if your flight is cancelled and rebooked for a different day, contact us immediately. Leaving your car without notice for significantly longer than booked can result in additional storage charges.
A delay on the way home and a cancelled trip are two different problems with two different answers. This page is the first. If the trip itself falls through and you need the booking moved or refunded rather than extended, that is covered in our cancellation policy explained.
What if I can’t reach anyone?
Call 07960 011047. It’s our own operation, so there’s no third-party operator to chase — the person who answers can see your booking and sort it. We’re available 24/7.
Tips to avoid stress in the first place
- Always enter your return flight number when booking — this enables automatic tracking
- Save our number in your phone before you travel
- Keep your booking confirmation email accessible — screenshot it or forward it to yourself
- Book with an operator that answers the phone, so you have a real point of contact
The last of those is the one that matters most, and it is also the hardest to check from a website. How to spot a rogue parking operator sets out what to ask before you hand anyone your keys.
